Professor Golshani received a BSc (1994) from York University and a PhD (2001) from University of Toronto, Canada. After spending 2 years in Banting and Best Institute of Medical Research, he moved to Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, where he is currently a tenured Full Professor and the Director of Systems Biology Group. For the past 15 years Dr. Golshani has been investigating the biochemical and biophysical properties of protein interactions. He currently operates a functional genomics/proteomics laboratory. He is an award winning scientist and a regular speaker in various scientific venues. He has authored more than 100 publications and has been involved in characterization and naming of more than a dozen previously uncharacterized genes.
